The roof that Vanderpool installed looks very good. They did a very professional installation. About 4.5 years from installation there was a small leak. They did come out and repair it. After 2 rain systems have passed through, there is no apparent leak.
Their real name is Vanderpool Construction and Roofing. I would NEVER let this dishonest, illegal drug using company touch anything on my property. They all use illegal drugs and do awful work. Would you ever let someone on your property do illegal drugs and do roof repairs? From shoddy work to damaging customers property (they have damaged numerous properties}, I would steer clear of any company with Vanderpool's name on it. They just filed bankruptcy on their original company so they wouldn't have to pay their employees 3 years of overtime. A substantial amount of money is owed to current and past employees for overtime that Mr Vanderpool REFUSES to pay. They changed their name to VPR hoping the IRS and the federal labor board would go away. I had to click on one star to post this, that's a shame.
Excellent company, many happy customers. There are always those that nothing pleases as you can tell by the other reviews, I’m sure any business they go to they find an issue with. This company has won roofer of the year for many consecutive years now in the tri cities and the word of mouth referrals speak for themselves. Compared to the large amount of work done by this company compared to small income roofing companies in the area you will find a few “unhappy” people but I think I speak for myself and 99% of most of vpr’s other customers when I say I would let no one else but them install or repair my roof ever.
Very rude workers and the boss Chad Culbertson is no different from the rest. a very aggressive person, not one that you want to meet! There compressor is now leaking oil on my driveway, and no one seems to care. Which employee that seemed to want to fight me do i address this to? No Joke, the employee laughed at me and said " your beautiful driveway" when i addressed my concern! Stay away from Vanderpool "Chad Culbertson" Construction and Roofing. you have been warned. Unless you like horrible customer service. Then this is your company! Don't you want a someone safe you can trust working so close to your business or your loved ones at home? wow, and the on site foreman just called me gay in spanish, trying to insult me. how could you not love this company!! NOT!!!!
horrible work..the work was done in a hurry and ...when asked to come out to redo some shingles that were laid down incorrectly, they were going to charge me. Also rude. I do not recommend..
