This has been the worst experience ever!!!!! I have never rented a car before but I will never do it again with the headache this has caused and I had to rent it due to someone hitting my car and it went into the shop so I had no choice. They lied and was rude to me. They never went over the instructions for the rental so I had no idea that the gas needed to be put back in the car. So they charged me almost $10 a gallon for the gas. This is robbery! If I had known I would of taken care of it. They also left the car at the collision place for an extra 10 days and are trying to charge me for it. Not my fault they wouldn't pick it up. I have talked to Supervisor and sent an email to customer relations and nothing has been done so I am out $67. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!
Next time I will just pay for enterprise out of pocket
I had to use them through an insurance deal. They were awesome to me.
They were snotty to us when we went to get the car. The car is a piece of junk, cheaply made. We bought a car at a dealership a mile from the location and they closed at noon on a Saturday. Now they are getting paid extra days for us to have a car we don't want. On top of that the person at the reservation center was snotty to me as well. I will never rent from hertz again. Very dissatisfied

I have a honda accord sport 6speed. Someone hit my car while I was in petsmart. State farm only gave me the option of hertz while my car is being fixed. Hertz gives me a Nissan Frontier....which is an automatic 4 door truck. The guy that I worked with the first day was really nice and told me if I felt like I was really uncomfortable with the truck to give him a call and he would look for a car. I call today and the lady that answered the phone was the definition of rude from the beginning. Put me on hold while I was still talking.. basically told me I was out of luck because all kingsport or the airport locations have are nissan frontiers or dodge rams... I asked to speak to the first guy and he was off. She told me Id have to call back later, I asked if they could just notify me if a car came available and she just sat there and refused to answer me.... so I said I guess ill call back later, she said ok bye and hung up.. when i had to get a rental when someone hit my mazda I went to enterprise and got to pick the car I wanted out of a certain class. Hertz didn't even ask.
