This store is a true local, family owned business, which is a huge plus because they are very down to earth. Patti and Lauran love their customers and will do everything in their power to accommodate them and make their repair or shopping experience as easy possible. They pride themselves on honesty and doing things right. They are also amazing teachers! When searching for a diamond, they took the time to explain how diamonds were classified and tried to find the absolute best diamond for the price point. On repairs they were just as honest. Instead of completing the repair and half doing it just to make themselves a few bucks, they provided education on why the repair might not work. I loved that they took the time to explain what the jeweler would do to the jewelry. They really want you to be comfortable leaving your jewelry with them to be repaired because they realize how important it is to you. They are the kindest, most patient people who answered every single question. Bottom line. They are the most honest and kindest jewelry store in town. Highly recommend.
These people are wonderful. They are honest and I have been buying pieces since Mr. Baker had his store in Colonial Heights. No matter what my shopping need...from watch batteries to gold or diamonds they always make me feel appreciated. I don't shop anywhere else for my jewelry needs.
We have been doing business with the Baker family for over 17 years. In our experience they have always been courteous and helpful. We have purchased many items over the years and always felt we received the best value for our dollar. Great people to work with.
So far I have delt with three different women and they are all absolutely wonderful! They have great customer service! But ultimately their jeweler does incredible work! I have had two rings sized, one had worn a little thin in the band and I swear it came back thicker and prettier then when I dropped it off. I had called two other jewelry stores before I called bakers, one didn't even answer their phone and the other was rude. I will never go with any other jewelry store, loyal Baker's customer forever! I should probably learn their names! Oh, and pricing wise it was half the price as the other place quoted me! I will suggest Baker's to everyone!
