I went in to check out a movie today. I needed to get a library card, but I forgot my proof of address. I totally understand that it was my fault. No problems then. I asked the lady how late I could come back and she very clearly stated that we could come as late as 5:00 PM. My wife was able to make it there by 4:50, but the lady absolutely refused to help her stating that she couldn't do it after 4:30. When I called her about it she got VERY aggressive and shouted her supervisor's phone number at me so fast that I couldn't understand her at all! When I told her she said that we could come as late as 5:00 she said, "yeah, we are open until five, but we don't do cards after 4:30." When I asked her why she told me to come up until five she REALLY got mad and slammed the phone! Worst library experience ever! If I could refuse to allow my taxes to pay for her job I'd do it in a heartbeat!
Horrible experience. I won't be returning
After yrs if checking books out for my daughter, I forgot to DVD! After picking over 15 books out the lady tells me I can't check em out even tho i was offering to pay the full fine! My young child cried as we left without books! I feel the lady could've found away for me to check out the books! She wasn't caring at all! The librarian was flat out cold! It wasn't for me it was for my child! This library hardly ever has story times and wonder why? It has a odor too! When you pull a book out about 3 falls out with it! They sit on there butts all day instead of organizing and planning story times for kids to enjoy!
The lady's that work here are so helpful, nice, and friendly. I give this library five stars. It is not a very big library but if they don't have what you are looking for they can get it for you. Just ask.
The ladies who work at the library are friendly, kind and very helpful. This is a wonderful little library, and makes my day each time I go there.
