Food was excellent. But the best part was the food truck let a bird in. We then helped the manager get the bird out of there. It was the best. I always expect good food at Perkins. But now I can also expect adventure at Perkins. Gollee Moses we had fun. Only down side is we got lost in the bathrooms. Really need some maps.
Good place to eat good food friendly people
I love this place. The pancakes are always perfect. The other food is very good as well. We used to have one in Lexington KY, until the property owners forced them out. So we lost ours. My cousin hates bacon that is not crispy. So when he got his bacon it was cooked to standard. Which means done, but not crispy. They took back and then cooked it to crispy. My cuz was angry, but I tried to explain that restaurant is trying to cook to a standard that most people will like, and a good restaurant will cook to a requested way per customer. But you have to ask. I eat out a lot at a variety of places and styles, and he does not. The waiter was very professional and did not take it personally. I have been in the service industry, and I know that that can be a difficult skill to acquire. Some never manage it. I have trained several, about half of whom never did get to that level.
Perkins food is pretty good but I have to say the people yes including management are very nice and accommodating. I have been eating my state dinners here and I could not ask for better service and the restaurant is clean with awesome desserts.
My husband's favorite breakfast stop. He orders about the same breakfast every time where I make a point to order something I have not tried recently and am never disappointed! Several healthier choices on the menu as well. The staff is very professional and attentive to the customers needs. Always clean interior.
