I’d give 10 stars out of 5 if allowed! They have helped my son tremendously! He has gone from being nonverbal for 23 years to uttering words. The speech therapist worked diligently to find just the right speech device for him and worked with the (speech device) company in finding funding, because Insurance wouldn’t pay due to his age. I’ve had a few medical issues and had to be out of town and the office staff were wonderful about working with me in scheduling around this. My son first went there with no means of communication and terrible self injurious behaviors born out of frustration due to this. Here it is, a year and half later, and his self injurious behaviors have gone from almost daily to once or twice per month. Mount region empowered my son and gave him a means of communication. Even though it’s been a year and a half in coming, I saw improvements and progress along the way. His therapist was great in gaining his trust using play therapy and no pressure. Once he was comfortable with her, she did “push” him to do his best and he has responded beautifully. So if you or your child need therapy, this is a great place to go for help, and actually, in my opinion, the BEST place!

I sent my child there as referred by our pediatrician. I was a cash paying customer. We're first time parents and we might have been a little too trusting and gave these people the benefit of the doubt a little too many times. The two older women who handled the front desk and billing were awful to deal with. When I called to schedule my son they placed our appt over a month out. However, when I asked a co worker to call and see if she can set an appt they gave her one the next week (new patient aswell) from billing problems to common courtesy they were just lazy and awful. In fact they kept changing the price we were paying 3 times...when I asked why. They said it was based on our income...but the funny thing is..I HAD NEVER DISCLOSED MY INCOME. When i asked to look at my file. They refused to give it to me because apparently the other lady in the office had it and was using it. When I looked up at the lady she was reffering to she was chatting away with another girl in the office. Also it didn't look like they had an office manager or any supervision.

The staff and therapists were so friendly and welcoming. They are great at making it a warm environment for young children to adults. My daughters therapist helped her from only saying 2 words to almost 100 in just a few short months. I would highly recommend them to friends and family who need their services.

We went to therapy there for a little over 3 months and til the day we left we still had not recieved any handouts with exercises to do at home with our son. We were willing to do the work to help our little boy thru this and we were just looking for a place to help guide us and be a happy place to go in and work on speech. The therapist kept saying she ran out and would make us copies next time. Again we were trusting. The toys were all dingy and they kept re-using the dried up and falling apart crumbly Playdoh over and over(for the entire 3 months) I have no clue why! After complainining to my doctor about all this...she admitted she wasnt surprised that there were always complaints about this place and we transferred to another place. If your looking for quality care and a great staff this is definitely not the place to send your kids.
